Carl was born and raised in Chalfont St Giles and still lives in the village. A former lawyer and political adviser, he is now Managing Director of an international research and training company. Carl represented Chalfont St Giles on Chiltern District Council from 2015-2020. He is now a councillor for Chalfont St Giles, Seer Green, Jordans, Coleshill and Gold Hill on Buckinghamshire Council. In 2018, Carl was elected Chairman of Chesham and Amersham Conservative Association.
Graham Harris was born in Gloucester, brought up in rural Kent and moved to Amersham in 1977. He has lived in Amersham for the last 34 years. Graham qualified as a chartered surveyor and set up his own practice in Watford in 1985. He retired from the practice in 2007 but has remained a consultant with the practice. He has been married to Jill for 30 years and both of their children attended local grammar schools.
Liz moved to Amersham with her husband and three small children over thirty years ago. The children all went to local schools and everyone enjoyed Amersham’s splendid amenities. Liz is a solicitor by profession and went into legal publishing so that she could - and still does - work from home.

Emily comes from a long line of Culverhouses and can trace her family in Chesham back to the 12th Century! Her Great Grandfather was Chairman of the Chesham Urban District Council in 1936 and her Grandfather was a local campaigner.
