Des Bray

Des has lived in Chalfont St Giles since 1986 and has been a Parish Councillor since October 2009.  For the last 15 years Des has been one of the organizers of the Chalfont St Giles Fireworks Show and is currently the Acting Chair of the Friends of Guides.

Julie Burton

Julie Burton has lived in the Chiltern District for over 35 years and has served on the Council for a total of 12 years. She is Currently Chairman of the Housing and Planning Overview Committee and the Homelessness Committee, and a member of both the Planning and Licensing Committees. As a magistrate for 18 years she sat in the Adult and Family Courts as a Chairman at Amersham and High Wycombe.

Jules Cook

Julie was born and raised in Amersham, attending St Georges, Woodside and Dr Challoner’s High schools. She is the eldest daughter of Davida Allen, who is a previous District Councillor, Town Councillor and Mayor. She can trace her direct family in Amersham all the way back to the 1600’s!

Emily Culverhouse

Emily comes from a long line of Culverhouses and can trace her family in Chesham back to the 12th  Century! Her Great Grandfather was Chairman of the Chesham Urban District Council in 1936 and her Grandfather was a local campaigner.

 

Isobel Darby

Isobel Darby has lived in the village all her life and was educated at local state schools, as were her three children. She is an accountant and, having trained in a City firm, practices locally.  Isobel enjoys her work in the community and is pleased to be able to give something back to the area.

Mark Flys

Mark was born in a council house in Amersham, 52 years ago. He attended 4 local schools, including Dr Challoners Grammar School and also undertook a 4 year apprenticeship at local printing company, Halstans.

 

Christopher Ford

Chris grew up in nearby Hazlemere and moved to the area in 2007, following his graduation from St. Andrews University. He lives with his fiancée, Rebecca, and plays an active role in both the local community and the Conservative Party.

 

Andrew Garth

Andrew Garth, District Councillor for Ashley Green, Latimer and Chenies which is a rural ward to the east of Chesham and Little Chalfont, and adjoins Hertfordshire. It is made up of the three parishes after which it is named. There are five villages in the Ward – Ashley Green, Chenies, Latimer, Ley Hill (including part of Botley) and Whelpley Hill. There are also three primary schools as well as churches, pubs, village halls, farms and businesses that help make up the Ward's very strong local communities.

John Gladwin

John GladwinJohn Gladwin is married to Carol and they have two grown-up children. They have lived in Prestwood for 30 years, and previously in Gt Kingshill. He is a Chartered Accountant and works as an interim Finance Director. He has broad experience in business, including 18 years with a large multi-national chemical company.

Mimi Harker OBE

Cllr. Mrs Mimi Harker OBE  Mimi is married to Robin and they have two children, Robyn, 18 and Arrun, 15.  She has lived in the area for 23 years and is extremely visible around the community.
