Jonathan is married and has lived in the Chilterns since 1993. Like many residents, Jonathan spent his working life in London commuting into the city. With a background as a Director and Chief Operating Officer developing teams in the UK, USA and Far East with responsibilities including Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing and IT, Jonathan plays a vital role in Chiltern District Council in the effective and efficient running of local services in challenging times. Jonathan was previously a Councillor in Fareham, Hampshire, and served as the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Committee. Outside of work, Jonathan loves the countryside and he and his wife are keen walkers. Last year they completed the first 166 miles of the South West Coastal Path from Minehead to Padstow and they are planning to complete its entire length of 630 miles.
