HS2 Project Delayed By 5 Years

The Government has confirmed that phase 1 of HS2 (from London to Birmingham) will be delayed by at least 5 years and won't open until 2031.  This finding has emerged as part of a Government review into the cost of the project which could see it scrapped altogether.

Prime Minister Announces £14bn School Funding Increase

Chesham and Amersham Conservatives are thrilled that the Prime Minister is increasing school funding by £14 billion.

Right now Buckinghamshire secondary schools get just over £4,000 per pupil.  Next year, that will rise to £5,000 per pupil.
