A new Leader of Chiltern District Council (CDC) has been announced following a cabinet shake-up. Councillor Isobel Darby was named during CDC’s annual general meeting on Tuesday 13th May, replacing Nick Rose, who has led the council for four years.

Chairman of Chesham and Amersham Conservative Association Andrew Garnett wasted no time in tackling the new Secretary of State for Transport, Patrick McLoughlin  on Monday evening at Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham.


A group of young volunteers from the local Beaconsfield, Chesham and Amersham Conservative Future (BCACF) branch came out in force on Saturday 11th August to litter pick and clear 5-6 foot high nettles that had started to block a stretch of ‘the backs’ footpath in Waterside, Chesham.
