Local MP Dame Cheryl Gillan MP has called on the Government to protect the precious chalk streams of the Chiltern Hills.

Dame Cheryl helped to secure a debate in the House of Commons on the plight of our precious chalk streams, including the River Chess and the Misbourne.

Joseph Baum elected to represent Townsend on Chesham Town Council

Joseph Baum, Deputy Chairman (Political) of Chesham and Amersham Conservatives, was last night elected to Chesham Town Council to represent the Townsend ward. In a hard-fought election which was also contested by Labour, the Liberal Democrats and the Green Party, the Conservative candidate emerged as the clear winner.

It is with great sadness and regret that Chesham and Amersham Conservative Association must inform you that Dame Cheryl Gillan's beloved husband, Jack Leeming, died on 23rd March after a three month illness.  We have lost a really great member of the team and a wonderful man.
