Candidate announced - Julie Cook

Davida's daughter to seek election as a Conservative. Julie Cook was born and raised in Amersham, attending St Georges, Woodside and Dr Challoner’s High schools.  She is the eldest daughter of Davida Allen, previous District Councillor, Town Councillor and Mayor.  She can trace her direct family in Amersham all the way back to the 1600’s.   Although Julie doesn’t share the same politics as her mother, she shares the same passion for the community of Amersham and is now volunteering for Amersham Revitalisation Group and project managing the Gore Hill Space for All. She has been a college lecturer and teacher and now owns her own training academy with her husband from which she is now semi-retired. She has been married to Adrian for 11 years, has two children and four step-children.  In her spare time she enjoys craft work and spending time with her family.”
