Carl was born and raised in Chalfont St Giles and still lives in the village. A former lawyer and political adviser, he is now Managing Director of an international research and training company. Carl represented Chalfont St Giles on Chiltern District Council from 2015-2020. He is now a councillor for Chalfont St Giles, Seer Green, Jordans, Coleshill and Gold Hill on Buckinghamshire Council. In 2018, Carl was elected Chairman of Chesham and Amersham Conservative Association.
Liz moved to Amersham with her husband and three small children over thirty years ago. The children all went to local schools and everyone enjoyed Amersham’s splendid amenities. Liz is a solicitor by profession and went into legal publishing so that she could - and still does - work from home.
Graham Harris was born in Gloucester, Brought up in rural Kent and moved to Amersham in 1977 and has lived in Amersham for the last 34 yearsGraham Harris qualified as a chartered surveyor and set up his own practice in Watford in 1985 he retired from the practice in 2007 and has remained a consultant with the practice.He has been married to Jill for 30 years and both of their children attended local grammar schools.

Tim Butcher and his partner Emma live in Chalfont St Giles. Tim has worked in the City of London's Insurance market as an underwriter for over 40 years, and has played his part in running a successful enterprise.
Linda Smith has lived in Chalfont Common since 1976. Elected as one of your representatives on Chiltern District and the Parish Council for many years, she has been Chairman of both Councils. She is a member of Chiltern District Council's Cabinet, Chairman of the Disability Focus Group and has
Jonathan, his wife Jenny and their three children have lived in Chalfont St Peter since 1987. Their children attended the Chalfont St Peter First and Middle Schools before Chesham High and Dr Challoner’s. Jonathan is a writer and PR consultant and was elected as a Central Ward member in 2012.
Emily comes from a long line of Culverhouses and can trace her family in Chesham back to the 12th Century! Her Great Grandfather was Chairman of the Chesham Urban District Council in 1936 and her Grandfather was a local campaigner.
Nick is Bucks born and bred and has lived in Chesham now for a number of years with his wife and they recently welcomed their daughter to the family. He works in Uxbridge and has represented Ridgeway since March 2018.
Mike Stannard served on the Chalfont St. Giles Parish Council for eleven years, five of them as Chairman. Mike moved to St. Giles in 1987, brought up his two children in the village and served for 8 years as a Governor of the village Infant School and Nursery.
Mark has been a Chesham Town Councillor for the last eight years and the local County Councillor for the last four years. He has been selected, once again, to stand for the County Council in the Chesham Division which also includes the villages of Ashley Green and Whelpley Hill. For the last two years he has been Cabinet Member for Transportation and has fought for a much needed higher budget for our roads and pavements locally and throughout the County.
As a father of three young children, Gareth is passionate about creating the right environment for everyone to achieve their full potential. After a successful career in the City, Gareth volunteers for numerous community and charity groups. He has been a school governor at two schools, sits on the board of two International development charities, is a church warden, a debt coach with Christians Against Poverty and helps lead a cub scout group.
Vanessa has lived in Great Missenden since 2010 and in the local area for almost 30 years. An experienced Chartered Accountant, Vanessa currently works in London and, like many local residents, commutes regularly from Great Missenden station.

Tricia has represented Chiltern Ridges Division of Bucks County Council for 16 years and has listened carefully to local residents to action their concerns at County Hall. She holds regular surgeries and attends Parish Council meetings to ensure she is fully briefed on all local issues.

Peter Martin and his wife Vanessa moved to Cokes Lane in Little Chalfont around 20 years ago moving from Southgate in North London. He has recently moved to Great Missenden within the Chiltern area but has very close ties with Little Chalfont and many friends in the Village. In fact his parents in-law have lived in Elizabeth Avenue for many happy years.

Martin has lived in Little Chalfont with his family for over 30 years. He is determined to keep Bucks beautiful. He introduced the 'zero tolerance' policy towards fly-tipping and has led the anti HS2 campaign by councils along the route.

Mark was born in a council house in Amersham, 52 years ago. He attended 4 local schools, including Dr Challoners Grammar School and also undertook a 4 year apprenticeship at local printing company, Halstans.
Chris grew up in nearby Hazlemere and moved to the area in 2007, following his graduation from St. Andrews University. He lives with his fiancée, Rebecca, and plays an active role in both the local community and the Conservative Party.
Murray has lived and worked in Chalfont St Peter and Gerrards Cross since 1983 having moved here, with his family in 1972. For many years Murray worked in the brewing industry for both Courage and Watney Mann Truman Brewers.
Des has lived in Chalfont St Giles since 1986 and has been a Parish Councillor since October 2009. For the last 15 years Des has been one of the organizers of the Chalfont St Giles Fireworks Show and is currently the Acting Chair of the Friends of Guides.

John Gladwin is married to Carol and they have two grown-up children. They have lived in Prestwood for 30 years, and previously in Gt Kingshill. He is a Chartered Accountant and works as an interim Finance Director.
Robert is a lifelong Chiltern resident and a graduate of Economics and Finance and postgraduate Law. A young entrepreneur himself, Robert is always keen to support local businesses and start-ups, and seeks to improve and retain these vital local services.
David has served as our County Councillor since 2013, lives in our village and has family members nearby. Now retired construction manager of a large engineering company, David uses his skills, knowledge and experience to represent Chalfont St. Peter at our County Council and works hard to protect and enhance the heritage and environment of our village.
John Wertheim and his family have lived in Chalfont St Peter for 40 years. He was elected Councillor for Austenwood in 2007 and re-elected in May 2011. He will continue to work to preserve the Green Belt and campaign to reopen the local Hospital. He has closely monitored all building developments in both Austenwood and the whole of Chalfont St Peter so that they meet the standards expected by all those living in the village.
Steve (Siddharth) Patel and his family have lived in Seer Green since 1992. He and his wife Sandie have one son who recently attended Queen Mary University.Steve is well known throughout Seer Green as the proprietor of the village post office and shop. This has given him a unique insight into the concerns and needs of local residents. He is available to consult every day.
Don Phillips and his wife, Beryl, moved from Cheshire to Doggetts Wood Lane 31 years ago. Before retirement, Don was an oil industry marketing manager, then M.D. of an engineering services company. In 23 years as Chiltern Councillor, (20 representing Little Chalfont), he has held many senior posts, including Chairman of Council, and Chiltern’s first Executive Leader.
Nick Rose has lived in the Chilterns for most of his life. He moved to Rose Cottage in The Lee in 1975 and has taken a keen interest in the community. He served two years as a Governor of Lee Common School, and is a Trustee of the Ballinger War Memorial Hall. After running a distribution company in Aylesbury for 25 years he has now retired from business.
Diana is a political adviser to a Chair of one of Parliament’s select committees. She uses her political experience to help the residents of Little Missenden ward navigate local government and make sure they are effectively represented.
Nick is an experienced local campaigner and has worked on multiple elections. Formerly Head of Ground Campaigns for Vote Leave, where he led a team of over 45 staff operating across the country. He has also worked internationally, including in the Caribbean and Africa.
