A big THANK YOU to everyone who supported Cheryl Gillan on Thursday.
Cheryl increased her majority to 16,710 which is 60.4% of the votes cast. This also represents a swing away from Lib Dem to Conservative of 2.3%
Result was :-
Cheryl Gillan 31,658 60.4% UP 6.8%
LD 14,948 28.5%
Labour 2,942 5.6%
Ukip 2,129 4.1%
Green 767
At the same count, Conservative Nigel Shepherd won the Chiltern District Council by-election in Amersham on The Hill.
