I am sadly reporting back that the Post Office has so far failed in the attempts to re-open Chesham Post Office. I have been sent this message today and I am still working with them to try and restore our vital service. I am so disappointed they have not been able to open but I am still trying to help.
"While we had hoped to re-open Chesham Post Office by now we have unfortunately experienced problems in relation to contractual issues relating to continued use of the premises and are currently continuing to work hard towards re-opening as soon as possible. In the meantime we would like to apologise to our customers in Chesham for the inconvenience caused – Royal Mail”
I wish everyone a happy Xmas and I hope a new year with our Post Office restored.
